Coastguards had several call-outs this weekend, including rescuing a broken down yacht.
At 1.40pm Felixstowe Coast Patrol Boat Volunteer towed the broken down yacht Veterata safely back to Suffolk Yacht Harbour after it suffered engine failure off Shotley Spit in Harwich Harbour. The yacht had three people on board.
Just shortly before at 12.25pm Felixstowe Coastguard and the East of England Ambulance Service helped a 70-year-old man who had fallen on the promenade at The Dip on Felixstowe seafront. The casualty was tended to by paramedics and released shortly after.
