FOUR fire crews were scrambled to fight a warehouse fire in Colchester this evening.
The blaze broke out at a disused building in Haven Road on the Whitehall Industrial Estate around 7.30pm.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS) said five per cent of the building - which measures 50 metres by 30 - was affected by the blaze.
A spokesman for ECFRS said it was too early to say whether where or how the fire started, or if there were suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
Crews from Clacton-on-Sea, Brightlingsea, Wivenhoe and Colchester attended.
