FIRE crews were called to a house fire in Colchester earlier today.
The fire broke out in the roof of a house in Old Heath Road, Colchester at around 3.36pm.
Two crews from Colchester and one from Tiptree attended the fire and used one hose reel to extinguish the blaze by 3.53pm.
One man suffered from smoke inhalation and burns to his hands.
Fire crews administered first aid to the casualty and an ambulance was requested to the incident.
