Two fire crews have extinguished a blaze at a house in Colchester.
They were called at 5.41am to a mid-terrace house in Port Lane which was 100% smoke-logged.
Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish a small fire in the kitchen by 6.35am.
