CCTV has been released of moped riders who stole thousands of pounds worth of handbags and accessories from a Colchester department store.
Essex Police is seeking to identify the people pictured, following a burglary at Fenwicks in High Street, Colchester at around 3.05am on Thursday, September 6.
Four suspects on two mopeds smashed the shop front window and stole handbags and accessories valued at a five-figure sum.
“We believe they entered the town centre at East Hill and drove the wrong way up High Street before carrying out the burglary,” said spokesman for Essex Police.
“They then drove the wrong way along High Street again to escape.”
