Colchester: Jewellery worth more than £1,000 stolen

Detectives in Colchester are investigating a burglary at a house in Shrub End Road.

It happened some time between 7.20am and 5pm on Friday, April 25.

Jewellery worth around £1,200 was taken after thieves got in by smashing a glass panel in the front door.

Items stolen include necklaces, rings and brooches.

Anyone with any information about the break in is asked to contact Dc Adele Brown at Colchester CID on Essex Police 101.
