A Colchester man has admitted being in possession of an imitation firearm in the town last month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court for a plea hearing via a prison video link was Terrence Gaythorpe,32, of Barkstead Road, Colchester.
He admitted possessing a handgun in Barkstead Road, Colchester, on October 8.
Gaythorpe, who has no previous convictions, also admitted possessing cannabis and having an air rifle without authority in Barkstead Road on the same date.
The case was adjourned until January 22.
