POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Colchester.
The 22-year-old was assaulted on St Botolph’s Street near Britannia car park at 4am on Saturday
Pc Richard English said: “This man sustained some quite nasty injuries at the scene. We’re hoping that someone saw the attack as we haven’t got a description of the assailant.”
The victim, left with cuts, bruises and concussion, is recovering at home.
