A man has been stabbed in the chin during an early-morning altercation in the street in Colchester.
The 18-year-old man is believed to have been stabbed during the incident in Queen Street, Colchester, at around 3.30am this morning, Saturday, October 5.
A spokesman said: “Police understand the area was very busy and are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
“The incident is believed to have happened in an alleyway between Mr Chippy and Silk Road.
“The victim is receiving medical treatment for his injuries.”
