First and Second World War medals were stolen after burglars broke into a house in Colchester.
Thieves forced the window of a property in Swan Close between 6.30pm on Saturday May 25 and 8am on Sunday May 26.
They also stole a 32ins Hitachi LCD television, some gold sovereign coins, and a men’s gold pocket watch inscribed with the name “Rachel.”
