POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was attacked by a dog in Colchester.
The woman in her 40s from Colchester was walking her dog on a recreation ground near to Abbots Road when she was attacked by a tanned boxer dog.
The dog was not on a lead and she received bruising and a cut to her right shin. The incident happened at around 1.50pm on Wednesday January 30.
The boxer dog is believed to have been with a woman owner at the time. She is described as being of skinny build with olive skin and long dark hair with bit of red in it. She was also wearing a black jacket and was in the company of another woman who was walking two westie-type dogs.
