Two men have been arrested after an incident in Colchester which left a teenager with a fractured jaw.
The suspects, aged 22 and 23 from Colchester, were arrested in connection with the assault in Queen Street which happened at around 3.25am on Friday.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy from Walton-on-the-Naze, was taken to Broomfield Hospital for surgery to his injuries.
The pair have been bailed until September 7 pending further enquiries.
