Commuters warned to expect train delays as Suffolk faces hottest day of the year

Greater Anglia services will be affected by speed limits, with travellers told to expect alterations and cancellations.
Train services in East Anglia are set to be affected between 11am and 8pm today (July 1).
Alterations to the usual services have already been made in preparation and Greater Anglia are urging customers to check for changes to their journey.
Network Rail will be introducing speed restrictions on parts of the network between 11.00am and 8pm to help protect the infrastructure in the hot weather.
During this time, train services operating between Liverpool Street and Colchester/Norwich and Southend Victoria will be subject to some alterations and cancellations.
