Bomb disposal experts have been called to the village of Coney Weston near Thetford after an unexploded bomb was found.
The bomb was found partially buried in an area known as Fen Meadow earlier this evening and was cordoned off by police.
The bomb disposal team arrived on the scene at 8.45pm and are expected to be there for some time.
There are no further details of the type of bomb at this point although the spot is near the location of an old Second World War airfield.
