Fire crews from Ixworth and Bury St Edmunds were called to a cooker fire in Stanton this afternoon.
A dry powder extinguisher was used to put out the fire inside a house in Old Bury Road.
Firefighters were sent at 1.33pm and had the fire out by 2.01.
