FIREFIGHTERS have dealt with a kitchen fire in a thatched property in Suffolk.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the fire just after noon today in Mill Road, Cotton.
Crew from Stowmarket, Elmswell, Eye, Debenham, Ipswich and Ixworth were sent to the scene.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the property and used two hose reels and two dry powder extinguishers to put out the flames in an industrial deep fat fryer.
The fire was brought under control just before 1pm.
