Could you offer a home to Nibbs the black cat - described as a “cat with character?”
Nibbs, from the Woodbridge area, was previously owned by a family who got two excitable puppies. Unfortunately, he did not get on with them, so he moved to a neighbouring cattery.
He is very popular and has made friends with everyone at the cattery, including their Labrador dog, but he hates being with the owners’ cat and all the temporary cats in the pens.
Cat lover Georgie has now been asked to help find Nibbs a new home.
She said: “He is a real character. When he’s not lying in the bird feeding table, he is sitting on every car that comes to deliver a cat to the cattery, and yowling at the top of his voice, insisting they take him home.
“Initially, it was quite funny, but the reality is that it’s actually quite sad. Nibbs is a highly intelligent cat, but has always lived very rurally, and needs to be homed well away from roads.”
Nibbs is eight and very healthy. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and defleaed.
Georgie said: “He is absolutely fine with calm adult dogs who ignore or like cats. He also loves children and people, just not puppies or other cats. Although he loves hunting, he needs to be a pet and needs a home to sleep in at night.”
If you think you could offer Nibbs a home, please call Georgie on 07768 760272.
