TWO cousins who are fighting extradition after they were sentenced to three years in a Cypriot jail could discover their fate next month.
Luke Atkinson, 23, and Michael Binnington, 22, both of Witham, were found guilty of conspiracy to cause manslaughter in their absence by a court in Cyprus earlier this year.
They appeared today at City of Westminster Magistrates Court, and the case was adjourned until August 7.
The pair were in a car driven by Julian Harrington - Atkinson's uncle - in Cyprus in 2006 when it hit a moped, killing rider Christof Papiris, 17.
Harrington, also of Witham, was jailed for 15 years after he admitted manslaughter and causing grievous bodily harm.
But Atkinson and Binnington were initially cleared and left the country - only to be found guilty of the charges in another hearing in April this year.
