RAIL passengers have been delayed this afternoon because of a cow on the line.
The 10.38am London Liverpool Street to Peterborough service was held up for around 10 minutes in the Stowmarket area after the animal made it onto the track.
The train is now expected to arrive at its destination at 1.39pm.
Other services on mainline were affected. The 10.58am Lowestoft to London train was 10 minutes late and the 11.30am Norwich to London service were also held up for around 20 minutes and ran non-stop from Ipswich into London Liverpool Street.
