Crash delays traffic on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds during rush hour

Traffic was held up on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds this morning following a crash between a car and a motorbike.

It happened at 7.45am, near Rougham, on the westbound carriageway of the road but police were on the scene to help move the vehicles to a layby.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said nobody was seriously hurt but there were delays going towards Bury St Edmunds and the road was cleared by 9.30am.
