A COLLISION between a car and a lorry near the Orwell Bridge caused disruption on the A14 today.
A COLLISION between a car and a truck near the Orwell Bridge caused disruption on the A14 today.
One lane of the Bury St Edmunds-bound carriageway was blocked following the collision between a black BMW and a white DAF truck.
The incident took place just before the bridge at about 9am.
The East of England Ambulance Trust attended the scene but there were no casualties. The lane remained closed until the vehicles were recovered, shortly before 11am.
There were also two other minor crashes on the A14 today. A woman driving along the A14 at Claydon at 8.25am today was in collision with another car, and at 6.40am a car and a motorbike collided with each other on the westbound carriageway of the A14 at Stowupland. No one needed to be taken to hospital for either incident.
