All lanes on the A14 eastbound have now reopened following a two-vehicle crash at the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border.

Emergency Services were called to the incident on the eastbound carriageway between junction 37 (Exning/Soham) and junction 38 (the A11/A1304).

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the force assisted Cambridgeshire Constabulary with the incident, which happened just before 6.30pm, following reports that a car is on its side and a person is trapped.

Minor injuries were reported.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.

Police set up a rolling roadblock to clear debris, some of which scattered over the westbound carriageway.

Lanes two and three of the carriageway were closed but have now reopened.
