A WOMAN had to be cut out of her car by emergency services after a crash in a west Suffolk village this afternoon.
The two vehicle collision happened outside the BP garage on the eastbound side of the A143 at Stanton, outside Bury St Edmunds, at just before 4pm today.
A 60-year-old woman, the only person to be injured, has been taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment after she had to be freed from her Metro car.
Three fire crews and an ambulance attended the scene while police shut off the road to traffic for what is believed to be 40 minutes.
A police spokesman said the woman's injuries were not life threatening.
