SUFFOLK Police have today identified the driver who died on the A144 near to Bramfield as Maxwell Dougal from Halesworth.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the fatal road traffic collision which happened at about 9.35am yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision around quarter of a mile north of Bramfield village to find a red Toyota Yaris had left the road and collided with a tree. Mr Dougal, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed until 1pm.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call the serious collision investigation team on 01473 613500.
