A MOTORIST was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the car he was travelling in left the A134 and hit a tree.
Emergency services were called just after 10.30pm on Monday after the driver of a red Vauxhall Vectra became trapped following the crash near Thetford.
Fire crews from Thetford and Methwold used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the man. The driver, who suffered serious head and internal injuries, was taken by ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge.
