Police appeal after burglary
A car wiped out a road sign and collided with a tree when it left the road early today.
Police were called to the incident, which happened on the A134 between the Rose and Crown pub and Long Melford, around 4.20am.
The male driver of the black Kia Picanto involved in the crash, thought to be in his 20s, is not believed to have been injured.
However the vehicle was leaking petrol onto the road and the fire service was asked to attend, a police spokesman said.
The incident was cleared up by around 5.30am.
