An underground electrical fire in Newbourne was put out by firefighters this morning.
One fire engine from Ipswich East and one from Princes Street attended the fire, which was in Mill Road, at 9.05am.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was firstly believed to be in a shop but on arrival the fire was underground in electric cables.
The fire was extinguished at 9.35am using a dry powder extinguisher and one hose reel.
The spokesman said the service contacted UK Power Networks who attended the scene. The incident was left with them.
