FIRE crews have tackled a blaze on the hard shoulder of the A14.
Firefighters from Bury St Edmunds were called to the fire at 3.29pm, after receiving reports of a fire in a display trailer on the A14 at Rougham.
The fire was extinguished by 4pm using a hose reel jet.
The incident left the westbound carriageway blocked between the Rougham and Bury Eastern Interchange for almost an hour and caused havoc for road user.
