FIRE crews in Suffolk have been tackling a large fire that broke out in a forest, covering 10 acres of land.
FIRE crews in Suffolk have been tackling a large fire that broke out in a forest, covering 10 acres of land.
The heathland blaze in Tunstall Forest, off the B1078, was reported at about 3.45pm and fire crews from Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge and Leiston were sent to the scene.
A water bowser from Framlingham Fire Station was also sent to the fire, along with an off-road vehicle from Lowestoft and a communication unit from Woodbridge.
Firefighters using hose reels have managed to surround the fire and get it under control.
