FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze which saw a factory unit engulfed with flames.
Fire crews from Eye and Diss were called to the Brome Industrial Estate, in Fortress Close, Brome, at 5.42pm today, on arrival crews requested two more pumps to attend the scene.
The single storey factory unit was completely alight and fire crews tackled the flames using two jets and hose reels.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue said that the unit was “completely involved in fire”.
The incident was brought under control at 7.12pm, but crews are likely to remain on scene throughout the night.
