IPSWICH: Fire crews tackled two fires that broke out in the town last night.
The first incident was reported at just after 8pm and one crew form Princes Street Fire Station was sent to Stone Lodge Park near Hawthorne Drive.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish a small fire that had started in a skip and the incident was over within 15 minutes.
About half an hour later one crew was sent to a location in Bantoft Terrace, near the recreation ground off Cobham Road.
One hose reel jet was used to put out a fire that had started in undergrowth and the incident was dealt with by 8.50pm.
