Crime writer Sharon Bolton will be visiting a Suffolk bookshop to talk about her new book this week.
The bestselling author of Daisy Chains, Little Black Lies and The Lacey Flint Series has written under the name SJ Bolton and won the CWA Dagger in the Library award in 2014.
Her new book, Dead Woman Walking, is about a young woman who witnesses a murder from a hot air balloon over the Northumberland wilderness, only for the balloon to crash, killing her 11 companions and leaving her at risk from the murderer, who has seen her face.
Described as a “haunting story, full of tension, foreboding and suspense”, the book will be available when the author appears at Browsers Bookshop, in Woodbridge, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 26.
Tickets are £13, including a copy of Dead Woman Walking (RRP £12.99) and refreshments.
