FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze which spread across half an acre of Suffolk farmland.
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze which spread across half an acre of Suffolk farmland.
Crews from Stradbroke and Eye were alerted to the fire in Hoxne at around 7.45pm yesterday.
On arrival they found half an acre of crops and stubble alight but were able to quell the flames by around 8.10pm.
