IT is a happy ending that would warm even the coldest of hearts.
When this cuddly little fellow was discovered outside the The Meare Shop and Tearoom in Thorpeness, near Aldeburgh, it sparked a worldwide hunt for his owner.
More than 9,000 people signed up to a page on social networking site Facebook and the story was even picked up in the national press in England, Spain, Australia, USA and even Brazil.
And after a week long search the young owner has now been found and the cuddly toy is back home in Sussex - after special delivery by high speed courier.
A message posted last night on Facebook said: “I’m back with Ned, my best friend. Thank you everyone for being so amazing and getting me home.”
