A CYCLIST has died after falling off his bike while travelling along a Suffolk road.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, complained of chest pains when paramedics arrived on the scene yesterday morning but he died shortly afterwards.
Police recorded the incident as a sudden death after being called by the ambulance service at 9.18am.
Flowton Road, in Somersham, was closed while officers tried to establish the circumstances leading to the man's death.
An ambulance and the air ambulance also attended but attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful and he was declared dead at the scene.
Suffolk Police spokeswoman Kate Rutsch said the incident would now be referred to the coroner.
