HIGHLY dangerous toy guns which were on sale at a town centre market stall have been confiscated by trading standards officers.
Investigations have shown that the guns on sale contained lasers that are nearly 20 times stronger than is legally allowed. They were found by trading standards officers on a market stall in Ipswich’s Cornhill.
Tests found that they should not be marketed as a toy for children as serious eye damage is highly likely.
Anybody who has purchased the gun is urged to remove the batteries and contact the trading standards team immediately for advice on the safe disposal of the toys on 01473 264859.
