IRISH singing legend Daniel O'Donnell is to perform in Ipswich, it was today announced - though tickets are not on sale until February.
The popular entertainer has performed to sell out crowds at the Ipswich Regent theatre for a number of years and will play the venue on June 9 2009.
Theatre manager David Mansfield said tickets are priced at £30 and £32.50 and go on sale on February 7 next year.
He added: “Daniel is a hugely popular entertainer and has a large and loyal fan base. We are delighted to welcome his once again to the theatre.
“It is unusual that tickets are not on sale just yet but we expect him to sell out quickly when they are available.
“Daniel is very generous with fans and takes time and trouble to get to know them.”
The 46-year-old singer has sold more than 10 million records and in 2002 was awarded an honorary MBE.
