COLCHESTER-born star Darren Day has been charged with drink driving, it has emerged.
It comes after the actor and singer was pulled over by police in Cardiff yesterday.
Day was taken into custody before being bailed to appear before magistrates in the city on July 2.
The 39-year-old was educated at Sir Charles Lucas School in Colchester and still has family in the area.
