The Hadleigh Expo event in 1981 was a showcase for the town and surrounding villages, highlighting the talents and skills of companies large and small and the many innovative ideas boosting the area’s economy.

Hadleigh has always had a strong industrial base and the exhibition featured a wide range of stands from a variety of businesses, including shops and the local media, showing products, plans and information about the firms.

Those featuring toys proved especially popular with the event’s youngest visitors and their parents.
