Police are appealing for witnesses following a daytime burglary in Stratford St Mary.

The burglary happened between 8.40am and 2.50pm yesterday, Wednesday June 20, at a house close to the Strickmere Road area.

A patio window was smashed to gain entry to the house.

Once inside all the rooms were searched however police say they do not yet know what has been stolen.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious people or vehicles in the village on that day, or who has any information that could assist officers in the investigation of this crime, is asked to contact South CID at Landmark House on 101 quoting reference 33947/18.
