FIRE fighters and animal welfare workers today joined forces to rescue a deer which got trapped in an iron fence.
FIRE fighters and animal welfare workers today joined forces to rescue a deer which got trapped in an iron fence.
They were alerted to the deer's predicament at 8.50am and used airbags and hydraulic equipment to free the animal from the fence at the arboretum in The Park, in Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds.
The deer was freed by 9.40am.
