THE controversial application by Tesco to develop a new supermarket in the heart of Hadleigh will now not be discussed by planning officials at Babergh council until later in the year.
It had been due to be discussed by the council’s planning committee at a special meeting on July 14 – but this has had to be delayed because the council is still seeking legal advice on environmental issues.
The earliest the decision can now be made is September.
