A two-vehicle crash caused long delays for drivers in a key Ipswich road during this evening’s rush-hour.

Suffolk Constabulary was called to the collision in Wherstead Road in the area of Bostock Road just before 5.20pm today.

A police spokeswoman said no-one was injured during the crash, which involved a Vauxhall and a Mercedes-Benz.

The road was clear shortly before 7.30pm.

Motorists reported severe delays in the area.
