Police joined forces with partner agencies for the operation
Motorists are experiencing delays on the A12 London-bound at Colchester due to an accident between a car and a lorry earlier this morning.
The incident has occurred close to junction 28 at Colchester United football ground.
A lorry and a car were involved in the accident.
All lanes have now been cleared, but congestion is stemming back to junction 29 for Ardleigh.
