DRIVERS on the A14 were facing delays this morning after a lorry overturned on the dual carriageway.

DRIVERS on the A14 were facing delays this morning after a lorry overturned on the dual carriageway.

The accident happened shortly after 5am on the westbound carriageway and led to the road being shut and traffic diverted.

Police said two lorries were involved in the crash one of which then hit the central reservation, overturned and blocked the road.

The crash happened between the M11 and A1198 junctions above the Godmanchester roundabout in Cambridgeshire.

Drivers were diverted off the busy road and delays of around 30 minutes were being reported.

One of the drivers was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
