Two drills, a bolt cutter, a petrol can were among items taken from a garage on Chapel Road, Old Newton last week.
Offenders accessed the garage via an insecure door at some point between 10pm on April 20 and 3.25pm on April 21.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
