Police are appealing for information after distinctive jewellery was stolen during a burglary at a Colchester home.

The house in Gurdon Road was broken into sometime between 11.20am and 12.40pm on Tuesday, June 5.

The burglars carried out a messy search and took jewellery, including the items pictured.

Essex Police would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity at the time of the burglary.

Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who has been offered items for sale, matching those pictured.
