Officers investigating the assault are looking to identify three men (pictured), after the attack on Friday, August 11.

A member of staff was assaulted when he attempted to stop a fight at Essex County Ground, in Chelmsford, shortly after 9.30pm.

The trio were at the ground during the Essex Eagles versus Middlesex in a NatWest T20 Blast match, which started at 7pm. Essex won by nine runs.
