Police have released a photo of two men they want to speak to following an assault and theft in Harwich.

Essex Police said two men entered the store in Freshfields Road at about 5pm on Thursday, July 27 and removed two bottles of Famous Grouse whiskey and left, making no attempt to pay.

A member of staff followed them and tried to grab the bottles but was hit in the stomach by one of the men’s elbows. The woman was hurt but had no visible injuries.

One man was described having short black hair and a beard.

He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey hooded top, white socks and open toed sandals.

Another man was said to have brown hair with long sideburns and was wearing black tracksuit bottom, a dark grey hoody, and black trainers.
