AS police today continue questioning a 15-year-old girl on suspicion of murder along with her boyfriend after two bodies were found in Ipswich, the name of the second deceased can be revealed.

Although formal identification is still to take place, the person found dead at Limerick Close in Ipswich yesterday is believed to be Des Thorpe.

An ambulance was called to a top floor flat in the close around 4am yesterday after it was believed Mr Thorpe may have collapsed with a heart attack.

However the girl and a 41-year-old man from Ipswich were arrested four hours later on suspicion of murder relating to the discovery of Mr Thorpe and also Rosalyn Hunt, who was found at her flat in Victoria Street, Ipswich.

Mr Thorpe is believed to have gone to Limerick Close on Sunday night, but did not live there.

The two suspects in custody had been staying at the flat since last Tuesday according to neighbours.

Mr Thorpe was in his 40s and is believed to have lived in the area of Ipswich town centre.

Ms Hunt, also in her 40s and a mother-of-two, is thought to have been dead for some time before her body was discovered on Sunday, just before 11am.
